Assistant manager
Reporting to the manager, the assistant manager provides support with planning and managing the company’s human, material and financial resources. He or she will be in charge of the team and must ensure the quality of the services provided. Lastly, he or she must ensure that there is always a good working atmosphere in the shop. The manager’s primary focus must be to ensure that customers always get the best possible service.
- Mobilize and empower the team with regard to customer service
- Supervise the employees’ work with respect to company standards
- Help with store and ice-cream parlor training as and when necessary
- Supervise use of equipment and know how it works in case there are any problems
- Take part in opening and closing cash registers and all kinds of financial operations (balance the tills, give change, etc.)
- Take part in task distribution and preparing work schedules
- Maintain compliance with the Chocolats Favoris concept and standards
- Ensure that company standards with respect to quality, hygiene, maintenance and health and safety are understood and adhered to
- Communicate effectively with team members
