Puff pastry

Here is the recipe of your favorite puff pastry!

  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ tsp. sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  1. In a pot, mix together the milk, water, sugar, salt and butter.
  2. Bring to a boil, making sure the butter is well-melted.
  3. Add all the flour. Turn off the heat and mix well.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time.
  5. As you add each egg, mix well with a wooden spoon.
  6. Place parchment paper on 2 cookie sheets.
  7. Prepare a piping bag.
  8. Form 3 - 3 ½ in. coils, making sure to keep a 1 ½ in. distance between the coils.
  9. Heat oven at 375 °F le four à 375°F. and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. After the first 15 minutes, turn the sheets around and lower the oven to 350 °F. Bake for 10 minutes.
  11. Completely cool the éclairs.
